This is a usability study and evaluation of the Flickr website and Android mobile app. We completed testing with 11 subjects using both platforms. Findings from the study lead to design insights and recommendations.

Designed and created an interactive prototype of a grocery application that allowed users to create shopping lists, view their current inventory, and see when their items expire. Mobile, tablet, and desktop version were created and tested with participants.

Conducted interviews and observations of user practices for online privacy. Created and distributed surveys to identify self-reported behaviors and feelings regarding safeguarding of online privacy. Performed contextual inquiry to complement surveys by observing and discussing participants’ practices when changing online privacy settings. Provided design and workflow recommendations based on study data.
